I feel safe here. This isn't the place for everyone, I wanted a mom & pop old Florida motel. So don't expect new furnishings. The toilet is very low in room 22, not handicap height. Bathtub & tile pattern are from the 50's. I really love the place. Ample ice, beautiful sunsets, very reasonably priced. The bed is very comfortable. Walking distance to a restaurant. And centrally located to everything. Watch the birds, turtles & small alligator from the patio. The front desk is very kind & helpful.
The rooms are nice and simple. A lot of renovations going on, now if they'd just change the color on the outside.
Comfortable room friendly staff and the lagoon is nice! Definitely worth the price and the beds are clean with no stains. Doesn't deserve the hate because when you're booking a room here you know this place isn't brand new.
